It might not necessarily be surprising, but the discontinuation of the Technics analog line is definitely going to be a pivotal event in DJ history. I for one will continue to use analog SL1200s for many years, but it is very indicative of times to come that Technics has shifted it's focus completely towards the digital era, moving forward with their new digital turntable, the SL-DZ1200.
